What you’ll do:

• Work the Plant Floor and lead a team to operate a variety of different manufacturing equipment including batching systems, mixers, concrete press, advanced concrete processing machines, packaging equipment and forklift operation
• Quality control during all phases of the production process
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Assist maintenance employees with simple tasks to maintain equipment
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in specified work areas
• Participate within a team approach and family work environment that delivers excellence
• Create products that enrich and improve the lives of our customers

Skills and Requirements:

• Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment
• Strong Computer and Communication Skills
• Ability to train, coach and motivate a team of individuals to achieve pre-determined goals
• Impeccable Safety Record and working knowledge of OSHA Safety regulations
• Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs
• Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:
  • Electrical Systems
  • Hydraulic Systems
  • Pneumatic Systems
• Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types
  • Electrical
  • Hydraulic
  • Pneumatic
  • Structural
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

Experience

• 3 years: Working Supervisor in a Manufacturing environment - Preferred

Education

• High School Equivalent or higher - Preferred
• Technical/other training or higher – Preferred
